This all-of-member workshop will explore the complexities of communication and how this can make or break a response. This workshop will delve into the challenges, opportunities and operational and reputational risks that come with how we communicate and engage both within a response team and externally with stakeholders in a biosecurity incident. The training will explore successful strategies and pitfalls as individuals and response organisations. The training will look to the future with insights around what new communication channels and opportunities are heading our way. The workshop will be full of engaging activities and discussions to tease out the key concepts into fun and interactive ways to consolidate learning outcomes.

Run by one of our NBRT Mentors experienced in the Public Information Space, the workshop has been designed for our members by our members. All functions will benefit from this workshop with discussions, activities and content relevant to all of the IMT. It will be an event that allows lots of networking with other members with social event planned for the Monday evening, group activities in the workshop and lots of opportunity for group discussion.
